Volunteer

We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the continued support of our amazing volunteers! And what do our volunteers do exactly?

Food related:

• Accept surplus perishables at the end of Market Days
• Help to sort food at pick-up locations
• Help transport food within Kingston from grocers/restaurants to agencies that feed the hungry – either in their vehicles or on their bikes!
• “Grow a row” – grow and donate produce to us or their favourite meal providers
• Donate to our Fresh Food Drive

Promotion related:

• Promote our upcoming events by postering, distributing leaflets, sending e-mails or using their own unique talents to get the word out
• Staff our community info booths at the Famers Market, music festivals and more
• Ask their CSA to donate surplus produce
• Stay informed by signing up for our newsletter
