Grow a Row. In the Plant a Row-Grow a Row campaign, gardeners grow extra food to donate to those in need. Kingston is one of 80 Canadian communities that participates in this initiative.

• Grow Project. Grade 5 students at Rideau Public School in Kingston are planting, raising, and harvesting tomato plants that will be donated to a local food agency.

The Acorn Garden is a learning and donation garden hosted by the Loving Spoonful located at the Oak Street Community Garden.

The Community Harvest Working Group is committed to enhancing food security in Kingston’s Rideau Heights neighbourhood.
